Interstellar Lab, a revolutionary biotechnology company, has teamed up with the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation for a unique mission: to grow roses on the Moon, as part of the Little Prince Mission.
This mission, scheduled for 2027, symbolizes the encounter between Interstellar Lab’s innovation and the timeless heritage of the author of The Little Prince. The capsules developed by Interstellar Lab, containing the precious flowers, will be placed on the Moon by Astrolab’s FLEX rover, transported by SpaceX’s Starship.
This initiative aims to inspire future generations by promoting curiosity, open-mindedness, and environmental preservation. Since its first publication in 1946, The Little Prince has conveyed a universal humanist message, weaving deep bonds between cultures and generations.
Olivier d’Agay, President of the Foundation and grand-nephew of the author, underlines the symbolic value of this collaboration: “To mark the presence of life on the Moon, what better than the Little Prince’s rose? […]”
Barbara Belvisi, founder and CEO of Interstellar Lab, adds, “[…] We are honored to join forces with the Fondation Antoine de Saint Exupéry pour la Jeunesse for this extraordinary mission, which will mark the history of space exploration and inspire future generations to preserve life on Earth and in space.”
Interstellar Lab plans other groundbreaking initiatives to extend life beyond our planet, continuing its mission to push back the frontiers of space exploration.
