124 years ago, on June 29, 1900, the pilot-writer and author of the masterpiece The Little Prince was born in Lyon. Today, we celebrate International Little Prince Day but also the birthday of its creator, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. 🎂
International Little Prince Day is a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to the enchanting world of this iconic little character. This year’s theme is: “The Little Prince’s Journey from Planet to Planet”. 🌙
Let’s embark on a cosmic adventure together and rediscover the mysteries of the planets, just like our beloved Little Prince. Let’s meet the King, the Conceited Man, the Businessman, the Tippler, the Lamplighter, and the Geographer, each inhabiting a unique planet with their life lessons.
Drawing competition in collaboration with XPPen
An international drawing competition was organized with XPPen. An opportunity for artists of all ages to showcase their talent by illustrating the Little Prince’s journey through different planets. Participants had to draw the Little Prince during his encounters with asteroid characters such as the lamplighter, the businessman, the king, the vain man, the drinker, and the geographer. 🪐
Six winners have been selected from 2 categories – Masterpiece Award and Best Creative Award – and will have the chance to receive Artists 12/16 (2nd Gen) x Le Petit Prince graphic tablets and accessories.
Giveaways with our licensees
On our social networks, many giveaways were organized in collaboration with our licensees. Fans could enter to win socks featuring the Little Prince, tickets to the Deyrolle exhibition in Besançon, and sets of Pantasy bricks.
